About Wales Craft Council

Through this website Wales Craft Council hopes to impart information about the craft sector across Wales, to keep both potential retailers of Welsh made products informed about the members of WCC: what is available and where. We also wish to keep the general public informed about where they can buy goods from our members and how to contact them. You can all help us to do this by registering for our e-newsletters and giving us your email addresses.

Wales Craft Council was established in 1977. WCC is an independent, non-political membership organisation made up of full-time professional producers working in Wales.

WCC’s registered company name is Cyngor Crefft Cymru Cyf, and is trading as Wales Craft Council and which has been affectionately shortened over the years to WCC. Income for WCC is generated from member subscriptions (Only £60 + VAT, per annum), sales activity profits and specific projects funding from the and The Welsh National Assembly (DEIN).

WCC works in partnership with a number of Welsh bodies including the National Assembly Government for Wales, Business Eye and the Wales Tourism to support and promote small and new businesses.
